Overview
Premier Water Solutions 10 Ltd was appointed by Heligan House Ltd to undertake a full turnkey foul water solution for the main house and the small village.
This involved:
- Applying for planning permission, building regulations and a minor amendment for Environment Agency permit.
- Specifying the best available technology for the project
- Installing and commissioning state of the art technology
- Maintaining the equipment for the next 12 months after installation
- Ensuring compliance with Construction Design and Management Regulations
Proposals:
- Careful tracking across a high value lawn and garden area
- Installing a new Premier Tech CSAF waste water treatment plant
- Installing a gravity discharge to the existing outlet as per permit
- Managing the decommissioning of the existing treatment plant
- Installation of new three-phase meter for the waste water treatment plant
Conclusion:
The project went according to plan and required careful tracking across the lawn, working within the garden area along with careful digging around the shrubs and the trees. The pipework from the existing run was intercepted and re-routed into the new waste water treatment plant with a gravity connection back into the existing discharge point. We undertook careful testing of the existing three-phase cable and connection to the new above ground kiosk, and installed a new meter for billing purposes. There was a final walkthrough with the client and a handover of the construction phase plan at the end of the project. There was also a monthly attendance to check the start-up process, with monitoring of the effluent to check compliance with the Environment Agency permit.
