Expertly Designed NH4P0 Range

Developed by PWS in response to growing demand for environmentally friendly, low-emission and highly efficient solutions, NH₄P0 is a future-proof advanced treatment plant - specifically engineered for Natural England’s nutrient-neutral catchments across the UK. Listed on British Water’s Approved Treatment Plant Supplier List, our system offers exceptional nutrient removal rates.

Compliance, Standards & Certification

All our sewage treatment plants are tested and certified to BS 6297 and BS EN 12566-3, meaning they clean effluent to 20 mg/l Biological Oxygen Demand and 30 mg/l suspended solids. Where required, we will ensure compliance with the General Binding Rules of the Environmental Agency Permit and Building Regulations (Part H). All plants should achieve 20/30/20 standards, but with NH₄P0 we receive better standards such as 7/12/0.2, providing a better choice for the environment.

We assist with all necessary permits and provide a completion certificate, which is essential for future property sales.

Ongoing Maintenance and Support

As an SSIP-approved contractor, we offer sewage treatment plant maintenance contracts with optional discharge testing to ensure everything is running safely and efficiently: sampling after installation confirms that effluent quality is safe for discharge - we can remotely monitor performance. System failure alerts are also available to provide peace of mind; in case of failure, we can offer repairs.

The Installation Process

1. Percolation Testing – determining if the ground is suitable for a drainage field or mound.
2. Assessment – we will assess all requirements and recommend the most suitable domestic or commercial system. This is determined by the property size, water usage, soil conditions, local regulations, and level of treatment required.
3. Design – our expert team will consider all regulations and site constraints to design your new system.
4. Installation – our in-house, SSSTS-qualified engineers will install your sewage treatment plant.
5. Telemetry Monitoring – as part of each installation, we set up monitoring systems to ensure your plant performs to standard.
6. Handover – we perform a health and safety handover to the property owner to ensure they understand how the system works and what to do in case of an emergency. We will also supply a certificate of work completed.
